The Society’s Magazine

The Horsley Countryside Preservation Society, HCPS, publishes a fully coloured quarterly magazine titled, ‘Around and About Horsley’. Our Aims are to promote, enhance and conserve the physical and natural environment and its natural beauty for the benefit of the villages in and around the Horsleys.


Circulation
The distribution of ‘Around and About Horsley’ is by volunteers undertaking direct home delivery to some 1200 homes in East and West Horsley, together with a number of members on our postal list. In addition, the magazine is also on sale in local newsagents and is held in the East Horsley library.

Publication
It is published four times per year. These seasonal issues are branded as; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The hand delivery takes place during the first week of; March, June, September and December.


Format

The magazine is set as standard A5 sized paper. All adverts copy must be sent in as pdf or jpg files. There are dedicated pages for adverts which are not interleaved with the editorial copy.


Copy Dates

The copy dates for the following issues will be strictly administered;

Spring - 25 January,         Summer - 25 April,           Autumn - 25 July,             Winter - 25 October.


Size Matters

A full range of page sizes are available based on a full page A5 format. The standard page is divided into multiples of an eighth, that is to say an eighth, quarter, half and whole page. Both colour and mono arrangements are available but colour is preferred to give all adverts continuity and impact. Advertising rates are also given for both single and annual insertions which may range from; eighth page-single-mono to a whole page-annual-colour.
